The highest rated courses in the Marbella area are Marbella Club Golf Resort, Flamingos Golf Club, Marbella Golf and Country Club and La Cala Resort. All together there are approximately 36 golf courses in and around Marbella. However, there is one thing that the different courses all have and that is challenging holes. The hilly landscape of Marbella provides the necessary challenge while playing golf. It is not without reason that it is the most popular golf city on the Mediterranean.
Marbella Market
The Marbella weekly market is held every Monday on the feria grounds. This market is the oldest and most visited market in Marbella. In addition to the usual fruit and vegetable stalls, the market also has numerous stalls selling clothing, toys, sunglasses and many other items. The public that visits the market is a mixture of locals and tourists. The locals are mainly here to buy vegetables and fruit, while tourists are looking for nice cheap souvenirs. The items sold on the market are often very cheap, but the quality often leaves much to be desired.
